This is more of a crazy idea than anything. I basically think it would be AWESOME if, in the Avengers II, Thanos had his way with the six original Avengers, putting them away in some pocket universe or whatever; with the Earth at risk again, Nick Fury would recruit other super-heroes he had his eye on for some time, creating the West Coast Avengers and whatnot - a bit like the whole Krakoa thing with the the X-Men. Obviously it would never work out, because how would they explain the backstory of the characters in two hours? >P (except that Falcon and Bucky and Ant Man and Wasp and War Machine would already have been introduced…)

but who knows, maybe in Avengers III? xD
